Cosplay, which is an infusion of costume and roleplay, involved Rivers dressing and acting the part of Coral Hare. This character stems from Coral Hare: Atomic Agent by Clive Lee. In the book, Coral Hare goes behind enemy lines to prevent atomic war from happening. The book, which is based on actual historical events, was on Kindle’s best-seller list for indie summer reading.
At ComicBook.com Baltimore, Rivers helped Lee promote his new book and provided information to visitors of the event. Rivers expressed her experience by saying, “I got to walk around the convention center a lot and also got to meet new people. The people there were very nice and didn't go out of character. I was surprised at how many people came up to me and asked for pictures! It was awesome!”
